Sh. Ashutosh Agnihotri is an Indian poet, writer, and Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1999 batch. He is currently Chairman and Managing Director of the Food Corporation of India and also the Chairman of the Central Warehousing Corporation.

He has served in several key administrative roles in both state and central governments. In the Assam–Meghalaya cadre, he has rich & varied experience in public administration – Professional career has spanned  all the facets of the Administrative Service, both in the field and in the headquarters,  covering Administration, Finance, Urban Development, Skill Development, Training, Industry and Transport, etc.

He has strong passion for reading and creative writing books and written several notable books viz. Piece of Mind; Colours of My Wall; Spandan-Hindi; OS ki Thapki-Hindi; Love Life and Longing; Kamrup (A Coffee Table Book); Usahor Bimal Surabhi (Assamese translation of poems).  He has also recently published books  viz.Kuch Adhure Shabd (Hindi Poems);  The Light of  Love and Other Stories (Short Stories); Looking at the Skies & Beyond (Essays); Main Boond Swayam Khud Sagar Hun.
