Shri Faroghe Azzam (Azmi) is a Patna-based cultural activist and musician. He is the founder of Community Jamming, a platform that brought together underground musicians in Bihar and popularised busking and public jamming, fostering a vibrant band culture in Patna.

Azmi has collaborated with organisations such as Oxfam India, Save the Children, and Bihar Ek Virasat. In 2021, his work featured in Shantanu Moitra’s series Songs of the River. He has also produced a music album based on poems by Bihar’s poets and supports filmmakers and musicians through music and video production.

Over the last three years, Azmi has directed several documentaries, including Bihar ke Qisse, which received widespread acclaim. Since 2022, he has been leading Patna Beats, an initiative aimed at redefining Bihar’s cultural identity.
