Kishore Keshav
Shri Kishore Keshav is a versatile cultural practitioner with nearly four decades of experience as a poet, writer, translator, and full-time journalist. He is also founder member-director of the Maithili theatre group Bhangima and Joint Secretary of the Patliputra Natya Mahotsav. He is actively engaged in literature, culture, theatre, radio, television, and film. He is also a skilled announcer, dubbing artist, and theatre trainer with specialized expertise in Maithili language, literature, and theatre.
He has written scripts for around a dozen TV documentaries/serials and acted in about two dozen teleplays. He is a seasoned theatre professional who has directed two dozen plays and designed technical for over 125 productions. He is notably dubbed Roshan Seth’s portrayal of Jawaharlal Nehru in the Maithili version of Bharat Ek Khoj. He has also translated seven acclaimed plays into Maithili and published eleven books of poetry, criticism, and edited works.
