Dr. Z. D. Lalhmangaihzauva is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Culture Studies at Mizoram University. His research interests include literature, cultural and trauma studies, gender studies, and postcolonial theory. He has authored five book chapters (2014–2023), published by prominent presses such as Bloomsbury, Sahitya Akademi, and Writers Workshop, and nine peer-reviewed research papers exploring themes of cultural memory, globalization, gender, trauma, and disability in literature.

Dr. Lalhmangaihzauva has delivered several invited lectures (2023–2024) on popular culture, postcolonial readings of Mizo cultural expressions, and Men’s Studies. He has also presented eleven research papers (2013–2025) at national and international seminars and conferences, including those organized by Pachhunga University College, Aizawl , New Literaria and University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy,  LCIR Cambridge, University of Rome Tor Vergata, Tamanghasset University, Algeria, and Mizoram University.
