Dr. Ajit Pradhan, a pioneering cardiac surgeon, founded the Navras School of Performing Arts (NSPA), a leading NGO promoting Hindustani classical music and other arts  under the aegis of which he has organized  over 155 free public concerts. NSPA also started the Literature Festival in Bihar. ‘The Patna Literature Festival ‘ in 2013 and subsequent 2nd and 3rd edition of it and India’s First ‘Festival of Literature on Music’ followed by it’s 2nd edition recently which had participation of 42 Musicians. During the lockdown, Dr. Pradhan launched weekly online raga-based concerts for 1 and a half years,  sustaining classical music and artists, earning national recognition and wide viewership.
