Abhay K.

Abhay K. is an Indian diplomat, poet, artist, and editor, known for his nationally bestselling book Nalanda: How it Changed the World,  and a dozen poetry collections including Celestial, Monsoon, and Stray Poems. He has edited significant anthologies such as The Book of Bihari Literature and The Bloomsbury Book of Great Indian Love Poems. His work has been internationally recognized, receiving the SAARC Literary Award and the KLF Poetry Book of the Year Award for his translations of Kalidasa’s Meghaduta and Ritusamhara. His poems have appeared in over 100 literary magazines, and his ‘Earth Anthem’ has been translated into more than 150 languages. Abhay’s artwork on Buddhist philosophy has been exhibited at prestigious museums across India.
