Abhay Kumar is a Doctoral Fellow in English Literature with a focus on translation theories. He holds master’s degrees in both English Literature and Linguistics, a background that informs his interdisciplinary approach to the study of language and its cultural transposition. A native speaker of Bajjika, his personal and academic interests converge at the intersection of literature and linguistics. He has contributed as a translator to The Book of Bihari Literature, edited by Abhay K. His project, a translation of Gitiya, the first novella in the Bajjika language, is set to be released this year.
