Divya Mathur, F.R.S.A., is the founder of Vatayan–Europe, Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and founding member of Asha Foundation. She is an award-winning Hindi writer with eight story collections, eight poetry collections, three novels, children’s literature, and edited anthologies to her credit. Her works, taught in universities and researched in nearly fifty theses, have earned her honors such as the Padma Bhushan Moturi Satyanarayana Lekhan Samman, Vanmali Katha Samman, and Arts Achiever Award (Arts Council England). She is recognized among the “Inspirational Women of the 21st Century,” and is a prominent voice in Hindi literature and diaspora writing.
