Lipika Dey is a Professor of Computer Science at Ashoka University. Previously, she was a Chief Scientist at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Research, where she led initiatives in Economic and Financial Intelligence and Context-Aware Enterprises. Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and Multimodal Data Analytics, with applications in healthcare, food computing, and sustainability. She has authored numerous publications and patents, and is an elected Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (2021). She received the TCS Distinguished Scientist Award (2012) and actively contributes to ACM India, mentoring young researchers and serving as an Eminent Speaker.
