Prof. Madhumita Barbora is a distinguished linguist and former professor at Tezpur University, specializing in syntax, typology, and the documentation of Tibeto-Burman languages of Northeast India. She has published extensively, supervised 13 Ph.D. students, led six 6 research projects, and presented at numerous international conferences. She has also served on academic boards and delivered invited lectures, making significant contributions to applied linguistics and language documentation.
