Manisha Kulshreshtha

Manisha Kulshreshtha is an acclaimed Hindi novelist, short story writer, translator, and cultural curator. Author of six novels, including Shigaf, Shalbhanjika, and Swapnapash, and eight story collections, her work is noted for its lyrical style and social depth. She received the Bihari Puraskar (2018) for Swapnapash and the KLF Book Award (2025) for Vanya. As a translator, she has introduced Hindi readers to international voices such as Maya Angelou and Jorge Luis Borges, while her own writings have been translated into several Indian and foreign languages. She is the founder of HindiNest and curates the annual Kathakahan series in Jaipur.
