Purushottam Agrawal
Purushottam Agrawal is a leading scholar, critic, and novelist, renowned for his influential works on modern Indian History and Bhakti-Mimamsa, including Akath Kahani Prem Ki: Kabir Ki Kavita Aur Unka Samay and Kabir, Kabir: The Life and Work of the Early Modern Poet-Philosopher. His novel Nakohas is celebrated for its incisive political commentary. A former Chairperson of the Indian Languages Centre at JNU and Member of the UPSC, he has held visiting fellowships at Cambridge and Mexico. He has received the prestigious Sahitya Akademi Indian Language Award and is currently working on the Mahabharata.
