• Dr. Vishwapati Trivedi, Writer & Civil Servant Dr. Vishwapati Trivedi is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer with over 40 years of experience in public administration, economic policy, aviation, infrastructure, and maritime governance. He holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, a PhD from Simon Fraser University, an LL.B. (Hons.), and an Executive Diploma from Harvard Kennedy School. He has taught at the University of Delhi, Simon Fraser University, the University of Ljubljana, the World Maritime University, and the Indian Maritime University. His key positions include Chairman & Managing Director of Indian Airlines, Joint CMD of Air India, Special Secretary (Home), Secretary (Mines), Secretary (Ports, Shipping and Waterways), Chairman, Inland Waterways Authority of India and Chairman, National Shipping Board. He is associated with the National Maritime Foundation and has extensive experience in domestic and international arbitration as presiding, sole, and co-arbitrator.
