Aalok Shrivastav is an acclaimed Hindi poet, lyricist, and journalist celebrated for his lyrical depth and evocative expression. His debut collection Aameen won the Dushyant Kumar Award and the International Pushkin Award, making him one of the youngest Indians to achieve such recognition, followed by Aafreen, launched at the World Hindi Conference in South Africa. His ghazals, sung by legends like Jagjit Singh, Amitabh Bachchan, and Shubha Mudgal, have been translated into multiple languages, including Russian and Japanese. Honored with the Katha Hindi UK Ghazal Award, he was also felicitated at the British Parliament for his contribution to Hindi literature and ghazals.
