Dr. B. Kalyan Chakravarthy is a senior IAS officer of the 1995 batch, Assam–Meghalaya cadre, serving as Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam with responsibility for portfolios including Art & Culture. With an academic background in engineering and management, he brings a blend of technical expertise and administrative insight to public service.
He has held several important positions across departments including Education, Skill Development, Labour Welfare, Rural Development, and Transformation & Development. His work has focused on strengthening governance, promoting skill-based growth, and advancing inclusive development in the state. Known for his strategic approach and effective leadership, he continues to shape policy and drive institutional progress in Assam.
