Srinagar Nalanda Dialogue 2026: Carrying Forward the Legacy of Knowledge and Dialogue

The Nalanda Literature Festival is back with its journey of celebrating ideas, culture, and intellectual exchange with the Srinagar Nalanda Dialogue 2026 in the beautiful city of Srinagar, Kashmir, on 20 June.

Like the ancient Nalanda University, which attracted scholars from all over regions and civilizations, the Srinagar Nalanda Dialogue aims to provide an arena for different voices to meet and have a meaningful dialogue. The event showcases the festival's efforts to push the Nalanda heritage into the global sphere and unite communities through discourse, prose, art, culture and public awareness.

This event will be a continuation of the many previous editions and dialogues, where renowned writers, scholars, diplomats, artists, policy makers, media, and a young student from South Africa were invited to participate. Participants will gain insights into contemporary issues and will be inspired by the rich intellectual traditions of India through the insightful conversations and interactive sessions.

It is a fitting dialogue to be had in Srinagar, the city of cultural heritage, literary history and spirit of resilience. As a city of ideas, it offers a perfect setting for dialogue that fosters understanding, creativity and collaboration.

More than a dialogue, the Srinagar Nalanda Dialogue is a movement to revive the culture of thoughtful engagement and knowledge sharing. The dialogue reinforces the conviction that conversations can be a central part of a more informed, connected and harmonious society as voices from various backgrounds converge on a common platform.

Celebrate the spirit of Nalanda and power of dialogue with us in Srinagar on 20 June.
