Shri Akhilendra Mishra is a well-known Indian film and television actor, best known for his unforgettable role as Kroor Singh in Doordarshan's Chandrakanta. He has played a wide range of characters, including the much-acclaimed Mirchi Seth in Sarfarosh (1999). Alongside his acting career, he is the author of Abhinay, Abhineta aur Adhyatma. His many honours include the Atal Samman and a National Award for Outstanding Contribution to Indian Theatre, Television and Cinema.
