Sh. Alakh Pandey

Shri Alakh Pandey is an Indian educator, entrepreneur, YouTuber, and Founder and CEO of Physics Wallah. He is widely recognised for transforming affordable online education in India, helping millions of students prepare for competitive examinations including JEE, NEET, and various board exams.

Born on 2 October 1991 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, he developed a passion for teaching at a young age and, facing financial challenges, began tutoring while still at school. In 2016 he launched the Physics Wallah YouTube channel, offering free physics lessons, and in 2020, with Prateek Maheshwari, founded Physics Wallah as an EdTech company. Under his leadership PW has expanded into online, offline, and hybrid education, becoming one of India's leading education platforms.
