Dr. Anantashutosh Dwivedi

Dr. Anantashutosh Dwivedi is President of the World Heritage Olympiad and Chairman of the Heritage India Olympiad Development Federation. He is the founder and present Director-General of the Heritage Society, and visiting faculty at the National Institute of Fashion Technology under the Ministry of Textiles.

He has held positions including Numismatist and Deputy Executive Director in the Government of Bihar, and has long been associated with the Archaeological Survey of India, conducting several archaeological projects in various capacities. He served as Director of the Lari Archaeological Excavation and has taken part in numerous other excavations and explorations across Bihar. He has authored two books and published several research papers, book chapters, and edited volumes in the field of heritage and culture. In 2019 he was named Times Men of the Year for his outstanding contribution to archaeology. He also chairs the annual Global Heritage Conclave. His work in public archaeology, tourism, heritage, culture, philosophy, and literature has produced research and conferences of national and international standing, and he is presently working on the heritage villages of Bihar.
