Prof. Madhumita Barbora is a distinguished linguist and former professor at Tezpur University, specialising in syntax, typology, and the documentation of Tibeto-Burman languages of North-East India. She has published extensively, supervised thirteen PhD students, led six research projects, and presented at numerous international conferences. She has also served on academic boards and delivered invited lectures, making significant contributions to applied linguistics and language documentation.
