Prof. Muzaffer Ali Shahmiri

Prof. Muzaffer Ali Shahmiri is a scholar, poet, and author with more than four decades of teaching and research experience. He has held various administrative posts, including Vice-Chancellor of Dr Abdul Haq Urdu University. Author and editor of several acclaimed works on Urdu poetry, criticism, and translation, his honours include the Sir Syed Award and the Bharat Ratna Maulana Abul Kalam Azad National Award. He is a respected figure whose contributions have left a lasting imprint on Urdu language and culture.
