Sh. Tenzin Tsundue

Shri Tenzin Tsundue is a Tibetan writer, poet, activist, and public speaker, and one of the most prominent voices of the Tibetan exile community. He is known for using literature and peaceful activism to raise awareness of Tibet's history, culture, and the aspirations of the Tibetan people.

Born in 1975 in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, to Tibetan refugee parents, he grew up in exile. He studied English literature and began writing poetry reflecting the hopes and struggles of displaced Tibetans. Alongside his literary career he became known for non-violent activism, organising campaigns and speaking internationally on the Tibetan cause, and his poetry and essays have become symbols of resilience and cultural preservation.
