Ms. Vandana Rag is a writer, translator, and cultural critic from Siwan, Bihar. She has published four story collections, including Utopia and Khayalnama, and two novels, Bisat Par Jugnu and the forthcoming Sarak Fanda. Her work explores culture, history, and fading art forms, and she has translated notable works including E. J. Hobsbawm's The Age of Capital into Hindi. She engages actively with rural communities through creative camps and children's literature, including Kisse Labalab. Her honours include the Krishna Pratap Memorial Award, the Ladli Media Award, and the Mahadevi Verma Award.
